🚨🚨 NEW ROUTE ALERT 🚨🚨

Wanna fly to the United States but don’t want to travel to Kingston or Montego Bay? Well now you can simply travel to St. Mary. American Airlines will begin twice weekly service into the Ian Fleming International Airport (OCJ) in Boscobel, St Mary, from the Miami International Airport (MIA) in Florida.

These flights will be operated by Envoy’s E-175 aircraft which has the required performance to operate in and out the airport. Flights will be 2x weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays starting November 5th. Tickets are expected to go on sale this weekend.

This is the first major airline to announce flights into the airport since it was upgraded from a domestic airport to an international airport in 2011.The airport currently handles less than a handful of local private aircraft and a few international private flights. In a Facebook post, former Minister of Transport Robert Montague said there is an expectation that more airlines will being service “soon”.
